Daniel Charytonowicz named 2014 Goldwater Scholar

Daniel Charytonowicz is one of three University of Delaware students to earn a scholarship from the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation, considered the premier undergraduate award of its kind.

The scholarship is awarded to outstanding students who intend to pursue careers in the fields of mathematics, the natural sciences, and engineering.

Charytonowicz is conducting a study to understand the cognitive mechanisms of visual attention - or how our brain collects, sorts, and processes visual information.
