Casey Jarvis volunteers at free dance camp for New Orleans youth

Casey Jarvis and several other UD students were part of a team that traveled down to New Orleans this summer to host a free dance and arts camp for youth affected by Hurricane Katrina.

UD students joined the non-profit organization, Indigenous Pitch Dance Collective, to help children express themselves artistically. During a two-week service trip, Jarvis and other volunteers introduced the children to a variety of dance movements, including Afro-modern, ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, breaking, tap, jazz, musical theatre and lyrical.
